I' getting ready to change the intake gasket on my daughter's Buick with the V6. I've ordered the Lisle push rod removal tool, and was wondering if I will still need to remove the valve covers if I use it. The rear one looks like a real pain! There's no way you're gonna get to the rocker arms without taking the valve covers off. I don't see how that would be possible. It's not nearly as hard as it looks and it does not require any special tools to change the intake gasket.
